أكد مدير زراعة دمشق وريفها زيد أبو عساف أهمية تعزيز مفهوم زراعة الأشجار وحماية الغطاء النباتي وإعادة تأهيله، مشيراً إلى أن الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية شهدت تحولاً نوعياً في التفاعل الشعبي مع حملات التشجير، وأسهمت مشاركة المجتمع المحلي في ضمان حماية الغراس بعد زراعتها.
