افتتح فرع ريف دمشق لاتحاد الفنانين التشكيليين السوريين اليوم معرضاً فنياً بعنوان “سوريا بعيون الفنانين التشكيليين”، بمشاركة واسعة شملت نحو 45 عملاً فنياً لـ34 فناناً، وذلك في صالة لؤي كيالي بالرواق العربي بدمشق.

تنوعت الأعمال المعروضة بين مدارس الواقعية والتعبيرية والتجريدية والتكعيبية، إضافة إلى أعمال توثيقية تسجيلية عكست معاناة السوريين خلال سنوات الثورة، ولامست تفاصيل حياتهم اليومية.

وأوضح مسؤول المعارض والنشاطات في فرع ريف دمشق لاتحاد الفنانين التشكيليين محمود سالم، في تصريح لـ العاصمة نيوز، أن المعرض يأتي كاحتفالية فنية وطنية تواكب فرحة السوريين بالنصر والتحرير، مشيراً إلى أن الفنانين عبّروا عن هذه المرحلة من خلال الريشة واللون والعمل الإبداعي، كما يعبر الشارع السوري عن مشاعره.

وأشار سالم إلى أن الواقعية والتعبيرية هما الأسلوبان الأقرب للتعبير عن الحالة الراهنة في سوريا، لقدرتهما على نقل الألم والأمل معاً بصدق بصري مباشر، مع التأكيد على حرية الفنان في اختيار أسلوبه وأدواته، واحترام كافة المدارس التشكيلية.

وأكد سالم أن الفن اليوم يلعب دوراً محورياً في تعزيز الوعي الوطني، معتبراً أن الفنان هو ابن المجتمع، وأن لوحته تمثل وثيقة بصرية تعكس حياة الإنسان السوري وتخلّد مشاعره وتجربته في هذه المرحلة المفصلية.

حضر افتتاح المعرض رئيس اتحاد الفنانين التشكيليين محمد صبحي السيد يحيى، إلى جانب حشد من الفنانين والمثقفين.

وكان فرع ريف دمشق لاتحاد الفنانين التشكيليين قد نظم سلسلة معارض في عدة مناطق بالمحافظة بمناسبة عيد التحرير، كان آخرها معرض الفنان عبد اللطيف هاشم في المركز الثقافي بالزبداني.

The Rif Dimashq branch of the Syrian Artists Union inaugurated today an art exhibition titled “Syria Through the Eyes of Visual Artists,” featuring approximately 45 artworks by 34 artists, held at Louay Kayali Hall in the Arab Gallery, Damascus.

The exhibited works vary between realism, expressionism, abstraction, and cubism, along with documentary pieces reflecting the hardships Syrians endured during the years of the revolution and depicting details of their daily lives.

Mohammad Salem, head of exhibitions and activities at the Rif Dimashq Artists Union branch, told Al-Asima News that the exhibition serves as a national artistic celebration accompanying the Syrians’ joy over victory and liberation. He noted that artists expressed this phase through brush, color, and creative work, similarly to how the Syrian street conveys its emotions.

Salem highlighted that realism and expressionism are the closest styles to expressing the current situation in Syria, given their ability to convey pain and hope with direct visual honesty, while emphasizing the artist’s freedom to choose his style and tools, respecting all artistic schools.

He affirmed that art today plays a pivotal role in fostering national awareness, considering the artist as a son of society, with his painting representing a visual document reflecting the life of the Syrian people and immortalizing their feelings and experiences during this crucial stage.

The exhibition opening was attended by the President of the Artists Union, Mohammad Sobhi Al-Sayyid Yahya, along with a group of artists and intellectuals.

The Rif Dimashq branch of the Artists Union had organized a series of exhibitions across various areas of the governorate on the occasion of Liberation Day, the latest being the exhibition of artist Abdul Latif Hashem at the cultural center in Al-Zabadani.
