شهدت ساحة الساعة الجديدة في مدينة حمص مساء اليوم احتفالية شعبية كبيرة، حيث توافد المواطنون لإحياء ذكرى التحرير وانتصار الثورة السورية.

وألقى رئيس الجمهورية أحمد الشرع كلمة للمشاركين عبر اتصال فيديو، عبّر فيها عن تميز احتفالات أهالي حمص بهذه المناسبة ومكانتهم الكبيرة.

رفع المشاركون خلال الاحتفالية العلم الوطني ورددوا الهتافات والأناشيد الوطنية التي تعكس إرادة السوريين وتمسكهم بوحدة وسيادة سوريا ووفائهم لتضحيات الشهداء، والتزامهم بمسيرة إعادة الإعمار والبناء. كما أضاءت الألعاب النارية سماء المدينة، حيث انطلقت من داخل الساحة وأعلى المباني المحيطة، مما أضفى على الاحتفال طابعاً خاصاً وزاد من البهجة.

وتضمن الاحتفال عرض فيلم توثيقي استعرض مراحل الثورة السورية، بداية من المطالب الشعبية بالحرية وصولاً إلى معاناة السوريين داخل البلاد وخارجها في المخيمات. وأبرز الفيلم بطولات وتضحيات معركة ردع العدوان التي حققت التحرير وأعادت الأمل إلى الشعب السوري.

حرصت وحدات الأمن والدفاع المدني والفرق التطوعية على تأمين الفعالية ومحيطها، بالإضافة إلى تسهيل حركة الحشود التي ملأت الساحة والطرق المؤدية إليها.

وفي تصريح خاص لمراسل العاصمة نيوز، أكد محمد الإبراهيم، أحد الحضور، أهمية هذه الفعالية التي تكرس ذكرى التحرير في نفوس السوريين وتبرز إرادتهم للصمود والتطلع لبناء مستقبل أكثر استقراراً وازدهاراً بعد إسقاط النظام السابق.

أما خالد فليحان، العائد إلى البلاد بعد سنوات من الغياب، فقد عبّر عن اعتزازه بالمشاركة في هذا الحدث الشعبي الكبير، معتبراً أن هذه المشاركة تمثل رسالة وفاء للشهداء وتجسيداً لوحدة الشعب السوري حول مسيرة البناء والتحرير.

ويحتفل الشعب السوري اليوم بالذكرى الأولى لتحرير سوريا من النظام السابق، حيث خرج الملايين إلى ساحات المدن والبلدات منذ الصباح للتعبير عن فرحهم وأملهم بمستقبل مشرق مليء بالسلام والحرية والازدهار.

The New Clock Square in Homs witnessed a large popular celebration this evening, as citizens gathered to commemorate the liberation and the victory of the Syrian revolution.

President Ahmed Al-Shar' addressed the participants via video call, expressing the distinctiveness of Homs residents' celebrations on this occasion and their significant status.

During the celebration, participants raised the national flag and chanted patriotic slogans and songs reflecting the Syrians' will, their commitment to Syria's unity and sovereignty, their loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs, and their dedication to the reconstruction and building process. Fireworks lit up the city sky, launched from inside the square and atop surrounding buildings, adding a special atmosphere and joy to the event.

The celebration also included a documentary film showcasing the stages of the Syrian revolution, starting from the popular demands for freedom to the hardships Syrians endured inside the country and in refugee camps abroad. The film highlighted the heroism and sacrifices of the Aggression Deterrence battle that achieved liberation and restored hope to the Syrian people.

Security units, civil defense, and volunteer teams ensured the safety of the event and its surroundings, as well as facilitated the movement of the crowds filling the square and the roads leading to it.

In an exclusive statement to Al-Asima News, attendee Mohamed Al-Ibrahim emphasized the importance of this event, which instills the memory of liberation in Syrians’ hearts and highlights their determination to persevere and aspire to build a more stable and prosperous future after the fall of the former regime.

Meanwhile, Khaled Falehan, who returned to the country after years of absence, expressed pride in being part of this large popular event, considering the participation a message of loyalty to the martyrs and a manifestation of Syrian people's unity around the path of reconstruction and liberation.

Today, the Syrian people celebrate the first anniversary of Syria’s liberation from the former regime, with millions taking to city and town squares since morning to express their joy and hope for a bright future filled with peace, freedom, and prosperity.

La place de l'Horloge Nouvelle à Homs a accueilli ce soir une grande célébration populaire, où les citoyens se sont rassemblés pour commémorer la libération et la victoire de la révolution syrienne.
