\n\nأكد المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية نور الدين البابا أن الجريمة التي وقعت في بلدة زيدل يوم أمس تندرج ضمن الإطار الجنائي البحت، وليست ذات طابع طائفي.

وأوضح البابا خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده في حمص اليوم، أن العبارات الطائفية التي وُجدت في موقع الحادثة كانت تهدف إلى التمويه وإثارة الفتنة في المدينة، مشدداً على أن هذه الجريمة النكراء مرفوضة بكل المقاييس المجتمعية، وأن الدولة مستمرة في ملاحقة الجناة وكشف ملابسات القضية.
\nوأشاد البابا بوعي سكان حمص ومكوناتها الاجتماعية، الذي لعب دوراً حاسماً في منع استغلال الحادثة لإحداث انقسامات، معبراً عن ثقته بحمص التي لطالما شكلت نموذجاً للتعايش.
\n\nوأكد البابا أهمية الاستجابة السريعة والفعالة من مختلف الأجهزة الحكومية، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الجهود لم تكن ممكنة دون التعاون الكبير من سكان المدينة، معتبراً أن دور وجهاء وشيوخ العشائر كان مؤثراً في رفض أي أعمال تخريبية والمساهمة في الحد من تداعيات الحادثة.
\n\nوفيما يخص قرار حظر التجوال، أوضح البابا أن تمديده يعتمد على التطورات الميدانية، مشيراً إلى أن الحواجز الأمنية التي أُقِيمت هي تدبير مؤقت يشمل مناطق متعددة وليس حمص فقط.
\n\nوأضاف المتحدث باسم الداخلية أن الحياة اليومية في أحياء حمص بدأت تعود تدريجياً إلى طبيعتها، مع عودة حركة المواطنين واستئناف المحال التجارية نشاطها، بفضل الجهود المبذولة لاحتواء الموقف.
