قدّم وفد رسمي اليوم، ضم معاون محافظ حمص لشؤون المناطق حمزة قبلان، وعدداً من شيوخ العشائر والوجهاء والقيادات الأمنية والعسكرية في المحافظة، واجب العزاء لأهل الفقيد عبد الله المحمد العبود وزوجته، اللذين قُتلا في ظروف غامضة ببلدة زيدل في ريف المحافظة الجنوبي يوم أمس.

وأوضح معاون المحافظ أن الوفد جاء اليوم ليقدم لأبناء عشيرة بني خالد واجب العزاء في مصابهم الجلل، مشيداً بموقف أبناء العشيرة والتزامهم بالوقوف إلى جانب الدولة ورفضهم لجميع محاولات بث الفتنة بين أبناء الشعب الواحد وضرب وحدة النسيج السوري وتكاتف الشعب السوري.

وأشار إلى أن التزام أبناء العشائر ووعي المجتمع في حمص والتنسيق مع عناصر الأمن والجيش ساهم في تدارك الفوضى وضبط الموقف، داعياً لأن يكون هذا الموقف درساً في تحكيم العقل والابتعاد عن التصرفات التي تؤدي إلى إثارة الفتن والمشاكل.

وأكد أخ المغدور عبود المحمد رفض ذوي الفقيد للتجاوزات والتعديات التي حدثت أمس عقب وقوع الحادثة، مشيراً إلى أن هذه التصرفات لا تمثل عشيرة بني خالد التي ترفض الفوضى وتقف إلى جانب مؤسسات الدولة.

وأوضح أن العائلة كانت على تواصل دائم مع الجهات الأمنية في المحافظة لاحتواء الموقف وضبط النفس والابتعاد عن التصرفات التي تقوض الاستقرار وتبث الفتنة، مؤكداً أنهم ينتظرون كشف ملابسات الجريمة ونتائج التحقيقات القانونية للتعرف على الجناة ليأخذ العدل مجراه.

شهدت بلدة زيدل صباح أمس جريمة قتل مروعة، حيث عُثر على رجل وزوجته مقتولين داخل منزلهما، وُجدت في موقع الجريمة عبارات تحمل طابعاً طائفياً، مما يشير إلى محاولة لبث الفتنة بين الأهالي.

وأعقبت الجريمة حالة من التوتر والفوضى في عدد من أحياء مدينة حمص.

An official delegation today, including the Deputy Governor of Homs for Regional Affairs Hamza Qablan, along with several tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, and security and military leaders in the governorate, offered condolences to the family of the deceased Abdullah Al-Mohammad Al-Aboud and his wife, who were killed under mysterious circumstances in the town of Zaidal in the southern countryside of the governorate yesterday.

The Deputy Governor explained that the delegation came to express condolences to the sons of the Bani Khalid tribe for their great loss, praising the tribe's stance and their commitment to standing by the state and rejecting all attempts to sow discord among the people and undermine the unity of the Syrian fabric and the solidarity of the Syrian people.

He pointed out that the commitment of the tribesmen, community awareness in Homs, and coordination with security and army personnel helped contain chaos and control the situation, calling for this stance to be a lesson in exercising reason and avoiding actions that provoke strife and problems.

The brother of the victim, Aboud Al-Mohammad, affirmed the family's rejection of the violations and assaults that occurred yesterday following the incident, noting that these actions do not represent the Bani Khalid tribe, which rejects chaos and stands by state institutions.

He explained that the family was in constant contact with security authorities in the governorate to contain the situation, exercise restraint, and avoid actions that undermine stability and spread discord, stressing that they await the unveiling of the crime’s details and the results of legal investigations to identify the perpetrators and ensure justice is served.
