كرمت نقابة التمريض والمهن الطبية، بالتعاون مع منظمة “سراج الشام” للتنمية والرعاية الصحية اليوم، نحو 200 من ذوي شهداء الكوادر الطبية في دمشق وريفها، خلال حفل أقيم في دار الأوبرا بدمشق، تقديراً لتضحياتهم في سبيل الواجب الإنساني والوطني.

وفي كلمة له، عبر ممثل وزارة الصحة الدكتور أحمد المصري، عن اعتزازه بالمشاركة في هذا التكريم الذي يجسد الوفاء لدماء الشهداء وتضحياتهم، الذين واجهوا أصعب الظروف خلال الحصار والمعارك وقدموا الغالي والنفيس من أجل القضية التي آمنوا بها، مؤكداً أن أبناء دمشق وريفها سيظلون أوفياء لروح الشهداء الذين رافقوا الثورة منذ بدايتها حتى النصر.

من جانبها، أوضحت الدكتورة منال فحام، مؤسسة منظمة السراج للتنمية والرعاية الصحية، أن المشاركة في هذا التكريم تأتي تقديراً لتضحيات الممرضين والفنيين الذين قدموا أرواحهم في سبيل أداء واجبهم الإنساني والوطني، مشيرةً إلى أن دور المنظمة يتمثل في رعاية ودعم الحفل إيماناً بأهمية التمريض ودوره الإنساني والمهني خلال فترة الحرب ومرحلة إعادة البناء.

بدوره، أكد نقيب التمريض والمهن الطبية المركزية في سوريا، الدكتور محمود حسون، أن النقابة ستواصل في كل المحافل تخليد أسماء الشهداء الذين قدّموا دماءهم في سبيل تحرير الوطن، مبيناً أن الفعالية بدأت في دمشق وريفها وتشمل حوالي 200 عائلة من عائلات الشهداء.

وعبر عدد من ذوي الشهداء عن شكرهم لمنظمي التكريم، حيث أكد عامر زيدان شقيق الشهيدة الممرضة مروة زيدان، أن هذه الفعالية تمثل يوماً من أيام النصر، ورسالة وفاء لتضحيات الشهداء الذين قدموا دماءهم في سبيل الثورة السورية.

من جهتها، أكدت لبنى المصري، زوجة الشهيد رامي المصري، أن هذا التكريم يعيد الاعتبار لضحايا التعذيب ويخفف من آلام ذويهم، ويحمل معنى الوفاء والعدالة لمن ضحوا دفاعاً عن الوطن، مانحاً أهلهم الصبر والعزاء بعد سنوات من المعاناة.

The Nurses and Medical Professions Syndicate, in cooperation with the “Siraj Al-Sham” Organization for Development and Healthcare, honored today nearly 200 relatives of medical staff martyrs in Damascus and its suburbs during a ceremony held at the Damascus Opera House, in recognition of their sacrifices for humanitarian and national duties.

In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masri, representative of the Ministry of Health, expressed pride in participating in this honoring event that embodies loyalty to the blood and sacrifices of the martyrs, who faced the toughest conditions during sieges and battles and gave their all for the cause they believed in, affirming that the people of Damascus and its suburbs will remain loyal to the spirit of the martyrs who accompanied the revolution from its beginning until victory.

Dr. Manal Faham, founder of the Siraj Organization for Development and Healthcare, explained that participating in this honoring comes in appreciation of the sacrifices of nurses and technicians who gave their lives in fulfilling their humanitarian and national duties, pointing out that the organization’s role is to support and sponsor the ceremony in recognition of the importance of nursing and its humanitarian and professional role during the war and the reconstruction phase.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mahmoud Hassoun, head of the Nurses and Medical Professions Syndicate in Syria, confirmed that the syndicate will continue to honor the names of the martyrs who sacrificed their blood for the liberation of the homeland in all forums, noting that the event started in Damascus and its countryside and includes about 200 families of martyrs.

Several relatives of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the event organizers, with Amer Zeidan, brother of the martyr nurse Marwa Zeidan, stating that this event represents a day of victory and a message of loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs who shed their blood for the Syrian revolution.

Lubna Al-Masri, wife of martyr Rami Al-Masri, confirmed that this honoring restores dignity to the victims of torture and alleviates the pain of their families, carrying the meaning of loyalty and justice for those who sacrificed defending the homeland, granting their families patience and consolation after years of suffering.
