قام وفد من طلبة كلية السياحة في جامعة دمشق، يضم أكثر من 125 طالباً وطالبة برفقة أساتذتهم المختصين في التدريب والتأهيل السياحي، بزيارة إلى مدينة بصرى الشام اليوم، في إطار خطوة تهدف إلى ربط التعليم الأكاديمي بالتطبيق العملي وتعزيز مهارات الطلبة الميدانية في التعامل مع المواقع الأثرية والتاريخية.

وأوضح مدير سياحة درعا، جهاد قويدر، في تصريح لمراسل العاصمة نيوز أن هذه الأنشطة تسهم في تعزيز الوعي السياحي والتعريف بالقيمة الأثرية للمواقع السورية المدرجة على قوائم التراث العالمي.

وأشار مشرف الجولات السياحية في مركز جلجامش، الدكتور عماد الدين عساف، إلى أن الجولة تشكل مبادرة ثقافية تعريفية تتيح للطلبة فرصة التعرف على الكنوز الحضارية والمعالم الأثرية في بصرى، إضافة إلى الجانب الترفيهي الذي يعزز تجربة التعلم الواقعي ويقوي الانتماء الثقافي للمكان.

من جانبها، أكدت مدرسة السياحة في مركز جلجامش، بيرڤان أوسي، على أهمية إشراك المجتمع المحلي في تنشيط الحركة السياحية وإحياء الحرف التراثية التي تعبّر عن هوية المنطقة.

وأعرب عدد من الطلبة عن سعادتهم بهذه التجربة، حيث قالت فاطمة الدخيل إن المسرح الروماني الكبير في بصرى يعكس عظمة الحضارة السورية القديمة، فيما عبّرت ماسة عبدلي عن إعجابها بالمعلومات التاريخية التي تلقتها خلال جولتها في المعالم الأثرية للمدينة.

وفي ختام الزيارة، أكد الوفد على أهمية استمرار الجولات الميدانية لما لها من دور في تعميق الصلة بين الدراسة النظرية والواقع العملي، معتبرين أن هذه الأنشطة تمثل ركيزة أساسية في بناء صناعة السياحة وتنمية الاقتصاد الوطني في سورية الحديثة.

وتتمتع مدينة بصرى الشام بأهمية سياحية استثنائية كونها واحدة من أبرز المواقع الأثرية المدرجة على قائمة التراث العالمي، كما تمثل مورداً اقتصادياً مهماً ومقصداً سياحياً بارزاً في الجنوب السوري.

A delegation of over 125 students from the Faculty of Tourism at Damascus University, accompanied by their instructors specializing in tourism training and qualification, visited the city of Bosra Al-Sham today. The visit aims to link academic education with practical application and enhance students' field skills in dealing with archaeological and historical sites.

Jihad Qwaider, Director of Tourism in Daraa, told Al-Asima News correspondent that these activities contribute to raising tourism awareness and highlighting the archaeological value of Syrian sites listed on the World Heritage lists.

Dr. Imad Al-Din Assaf, supervisor of tourist tours at Gilgamesh Center, pointed out that the tour represents a cultural and educational initiative allowing students to discover the civilizational treasures and archaeological landmarks in Bosra, in addition to the recreational aspect that enhances real learning experiences and strengthens cultural belonging to the place.

Bervan Osi, a tourism instructor at Gilgamesh Center, stressed the importance of involving the local community in activating tourism movement and reviving traditional crafts that reflect the region’s identity.

Several students expressed their happiness with the experience, with Fatima Al-Dakhil saying that the large Roman theater in Bosra embodies the grandeur of ancient Syrian civilization, while Masa Abdali expressed admiration for the historical information she received during her tour of the city’s archaeological sites.

At the end of the visit, the delegation emphasized the importance of continuing field tours for their role in deepening the connection between theoretical study and practical reality, considering these activities a fundamental pillar in building the tourism industry and developing the national economy in modern Syria.

Bosra Al-Sham city holds exceptional tourism importance as one of the most prominent archaeological sites listed on the World Heritage list, representing a significant economic resource and a prominent tourist destination in southern Syria.
